Job Fraud Racket —Two Arrested
Hyderabad: A team of Cyber Crime PS, Hyderabad City busted an organized Job Fraud racket run at New Delhi and apprehended two accused persons involved in tricking the innocent job aspirants to the tune of lakhs of rupees.
The accused are: Vijay Maan, 25 yrs R/o Subhash Nagar, New Delhi, and Abhishek Singh, 20 yrs, Manager, E Media Web Technologies R/o PremVihar, Ghaziabad, U.P.
Facts are that the complainant while he was on lookout for a job, was contacted by a unknown person namely Ankesh through mobile numbers i.e., 9654271923, 9953160936, 70753890023, 7840854261 promising to arrange job at Shamshabad International Airport, in jet airways as a ground staff, later asked him to pay an amount of Rs 1800/- towards registration, on line test Rs 40,000/-, issuing appointment letter Rs 40,000/- and so on to the tune of Rs1,13,000/- to be deposited in various bank accounts of Axis, SBI, HDFC Banks etc. on the pretext of providing job. Based on the above facts a case was registered and taken up investigation.
The cyber team zeroed in on the accused persons Vijay Mann and Abhishek Singh at their hideouts in New Delhi and arrested them and seized Debit Cards of Axis, ICICI and SBI Banks, several Samsung Mobiles and Net cash and other incriminating material used in the commission of offence, from their possession.
Transit Warrant was obtained from the Court at New Delhi and the accused are brought to Hyderabad.
The general public are warned not to fall prey to such calls luring them in the name of back door job offers, ATM cards reward points, hassle free loans and any other backdoor benefits, as the offenders operating from other states call in highly authenticating manner to cheat the victims. In case of doubt, the public are advised to personally visit the concerned organization viz. the institution/organization, bank etc. to verify or submit any details.
The above operation was carried out by Inspector. Ravi Kiran, SI Suresh, SI Naresh, PCs Maheshwar Reddy and Feroz under the direct supervision of ACP KCS Raghu Vir.
