Speaking as the Chief Guest at the TWJ(IJ) State Tertiary Congress being held at Khammam on Thursday, he said that no matter how many tides and restrictions are faced in society, there is no end in this society unless we work with courage, commitment, and honesty.  He said that the profession of journalism is like the edge of a sword.  He said that everything has to work.  It is advised not to misuse this profession for self-interest and selfishness.

He said that he should work to increase respect. He said that people should not be running and worried when they see well-grown people and should not be jealous of them. He said that the role of a journalist is huge. He said that if a doctor makes a mistake, a patient dies, if an engineer makes a mistake, the project will be damaged, and if journalists make a mistake, society will suffer.

He said that journalists have the power to make people aware. Newspaper owners and media owners asked them to write news keeping in mind the father of society even if they have a new house. Journalists should have ethics, commitment, and self-control. He reminded that the newspapers played a vital role in the freedom struggle and the movements were carried out by looking at the news stories in the newspapers. He said that now the magazine and media sector has provided technology. He said that once there were magazines, then TVs, and now social media.

He said that the information coming on social media is not reliable, they are watching TV and reading white people’s newspapers to fully confirm whether the information is true or not. He said that the magazine was not against the empire. He said that no matter what happens here, no matter natural calamities or coronavirus, they will work at the risk of their lives. Desperate to cover the events themselves for the first time, the police said they would sneak in and cover the news even if pushed. He said that your hard work will not be in vain. It is suggested that you should not forget your legacy and work without succumbing to pressure. Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao assured me that he will always be with you to solve the problems of journalists.
