Jubilee Hills By election: Heavy Security in Place
Hyderabad, Nov. 9: Joint Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal announced that elaborate security arrangements have been made for the Jubilee Hills by-election.
Addressing the media, he said a total of 1,761 police personnel will be deployed on election duty. All non-local individuals will be asked to leave the Jubilee Hills constituency to ensure smooth polling.
Police Ensure Law and Order for Peaceful Voting
The campaign for the Jubilee Hills by-election concluded at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
Tafseer Iqbal said law and order in the area is completely under control and police forces are ready to prevent any untoward incidents.
He urged voters to actively participate in the democratic process and exercise their franchise freely.
The Joint CP revealed that 27 cases have been registered so far for violations of the Model Code of Conduct in different police limits.
These include six cases in Film Nagar zone, one in Banjara Hills, seven in Borabanda, three in Jubilee Hills, six in Madhuranagar, two in Towlichowki, and two in Sanathnagar.
Police will continue to monitor all areas to ensure fair and peaceful polling.
