Jubilee Hills by-poll | Hyderabad, Oct 14: BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) handed over the B-form to Maganti Sunitha Gopinath, the party’s candidate for the Jubilee Hills constituency by-election.
He also presented a cheque of Rs 40 lakh on behalf of the party to cover her election expenses.
Several senior party leaders attended the event. These included Maheshwaram MLA Sabita Indra Reddy, former minister and Secunderabad MLA Padmarao Goud, Amberpet MLA Kaleru Venkatesh, Musheerabad MLA Mutha Gopal, and former Miryalaguda MLA Nalamothu Bhaskar Rao.

The BRS has approached this by-election with significant ambition as it seeks to retain what was previously a party seat. The party has fielded Sunitha, who is the wife of late MLA Maganti Gopinath.
The by-election became necessary following Gopinath’s death.
The party is hoping to secure victory by capitalizing on sympathy for the late legislator. The BRS leadership appears determined to make serious efforts to hold onto this constituency in the upcoming poll.
