Hyderabad: Telangana Jagruthi President Kalvakuntla Kavitha held a Zoom conference with members of the Agenda Committee to review the roadmap for the comprehensive development of Telangana. The online meeting took place on Wednesday night. During the interaction, she outlined the next steps for the committee and stressed the need for focused study on key governance issues affecting the state.
Kalvakuntla Kavitha said Telangana Jagruthi has formed special committees to examine several critical areas. These include the failures of the BRS and Congress parties that governed the region after the formation of Telangana state. She also referred to the study of the constitutions of all parties. In addition, she highlighted the goal of creating a highly democratic constitution. Meanwhile, she said the committees will also look into 32 other issues linked to water, funds, and appointments.

She instructed Agenda Committee members to conduct detailed field studies as part of this exercise. She emphasised that ground level findings are essential to shape a clear and realistic roadmap. Therefore, she directed the members to submit their reports by the 17th of this month. She added that the reports must be sent to the steering committee for further review. The steering committee is headed by Working President L. Roop Singh.
Kalvakuntla Kavitha also explained the process that will follow the submission of the reports. She said Telangana Jagruthi will study the findings placed before the steering committee. Later, based on the report submitted by the steering committee, the organisation will hold a state level executive committee meeting. She noted that this meeting will take key decisions on the future course of action.
The Zoom conference focused on coordination and timelines. It also aimed to ensure that all committee members work with clarity and discipline. Meanwhile, the discussion underlined the importance of structured planning for Telangana’s comprehensive development. Kavitha’s instructions made it clear that Telangana Jagruthi wants a data driven and field based approach. She also signalled that the organisation will move forward only after reviewing the committee’s findings in detail. The meeting concluded with a clear task schedule and responsibility placed on the Agenda Committee members to complete their work within the given deadline.
