Kamareddy, May 2: Government Adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir said the 4% reservation for economically weaker Muslims under the BC-E category is playing a crucial role in improving educational opportunities for minority students.

He was speaking as the chief guest at a felicitation programme held at Kalabharathi Auditorium in Kamareddy, where meritorious students were honoured for their outstanding performance.

Students from Sandeepani Junior College who secured top state ranks were honoured with cash awards:
