Shabbir Ali said Kamareddy had considerable cricketing talent but many youngsters lacked access to professional coaching and modern facilities. He stressed that financial difficulties should not prevent talented students from pursuing cricket.

He said the proposed facilities would help young players improve their skills and pursue opportunities at the State and national levels. He also highlighted the role of sports in developing discipline, determination, punctuality and teamwork.

The immediate plans include appointing private cricket coaches, installing three practice nets and supplying the equipment required for regular training. The HCA also plans to organise coaching programmes and Under-19 matches at the stadium.

HCA Secretary Jeevan Reddy said steps were being taken to appoint private coaches within a week. He added that the association would discuss constructing a cricket pitch at its forthcoming meeting.

The HCA will also examine a proposal to take the stadium under its supervision for management and cricket-related activities. These measures are expected to provide Kamareddy’s young cricketers with structured training and greater exposure to competitive matches.
