Kangana Ranaut turns down Majid Majidi’s ‘Beyond the Clouds’

Word is, Kangana Ranaut was offered Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s ‘Beyond the Clouds’. The actress even met Majidi to discuss the project, but Kangs eventually turned it down since she felt the female character wasn’t equally prominent in the brother-sister saga.

She suggested that the script be reworked to make her role more meaty, but Majidi refused to bow down. Despite having immense respect for the acclaimed and award-winning filmmaker, Kangs chose to turn it down in the interest of a powerful role.
