Kapil Dev Meets KTR On Golf Tourney In City Next Year

Hyderabad, Nov.25 (Maxim News): Former Captain of Indian Cricket Kapil Dev today met Telangana IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao at Greater Hyderabad Municiapal Corporation (GHMC) office here today. Kapil met KTR as part of Golf Club promotion activities. However, there was no official announcement over the reasons behind their meeting.

The meeting gets significance as Hyderabad will be the place for International Golf Tournament in December next year. Kapil sought cooperation of the State government to conduct the event on a grand scale. The minister reportedly agreed to extend full cooperation for the event in the State capital.

After the meeting with Kapil Dev, KTR is scheduled to conduct a review meeting with GHMC officials to discuss GHMC projects and other matters related to Strategic Road Development Plan works, including junction improvement, foot over-bridges, skywalks, right to walk (footpaths), traffic lights and bus shelters.
