Karnataka Polls: Congress Promises To Revive 4 Percent Reservations Of Muslim Minorities
Bangalore/Hyderabad, May 2 (Maxim News): Congress party has released its manifesto in the wake of the Karnataka Assembly elections. The manifesto has promised to revive 4 per cent reservation to the Muslim Minorities in education and employment which was withdrawn by the present BJP ruling party which is in power.
It has also promise to revive the reservation to the SCs to 17 per cent and 7 per cent to STs. Increase reservation for Lingayats, Voka Kaligas, other communities attempt to include in 9th schedule
Apart from this the Congress party also promise to unemployment benefit of Rs. 3 thousand per month for two years to unemployed graduates. Rs. 1500 per month for unemployed diploma holders.
200 units of free electricity, Rs. 2,000 per month to every woman in the family. Free travel for women in RTC buses,
Prohibition of organization like Bajrang Dal, PFI and decisive action as per law We will make 1.5 crore liters of milk production per day under Milk Kranti scheme. Increase in milk subsidy to farmers from Rs. 5 to Rs. 7
Karnataka, which has 224 Assembly seats, will go to polls on May 10. The results will be out on May 13. (Maxim News)
