Kavitha Writes to CBI to Provide Copies

Kavitha | Hyderabad, Dec 3 (Maxim News): The Delhi Liquor Scam which has largely surfaced in the state of Telangana in which the MLC K. Kavitha, daughter of the Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao name has been framed in the charge sheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi Court.

In this connection, the CBI has written to Kavitha to be available either in Hyderabad or Delhi on Dec 6 at 11.00 am for questioning relating to the case.

However, Kavitha in a reply has written the letter to Deputy Superintendent of Police, CBI , ACB, Alok Kumar Shahi asking him to provide the copies of the complaint received from one Praveen Kumar Roy of Ministry of Home Affairs, government of India.

She said that requested documents to be provided at the earliest to enable her to acquaint herself and answer appropriately under a reasonable period of time and added that the date of the meeting will be fixed at Hyderabad after the receipt of documents.

It is to mention here that a day after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sought clarifications in the Delhi liquor policy scam, TRS MLC K. Kavitha on Saturday met Telangana Chief Minister and her father K. Chandrashekar Rao.

Kavitha drove to Pragati Bhavan, the residence of CM KCR. They are believed to be discussing the strategy to counter what they believe is political vendetta by the BJP government at the Centre by targeting them through Central agencies. (Maxim News)
