KCR Changed Fate Of Farmers In Six Years: Minister
Hyderabad, Feb.29 (Maxim News): Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy today said 70 years of misery and poverty in the Telangana villages were wiped out by the TRS government in just six years.
Participating in some developmental programs as part of Pattana Pragati program in Suryapet, the minister claimed that with the new Panchayat Raj Act and plan, the problems of the poor in rural areas were addressed. He said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was implementing Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bhima, 24-hour power supply to farm sector for farmers’ welfare.
The minister also said the Telangana State is a role model in the country for implementing such historic welfare schemes. He also said 2,635 Lambada thandas were upgraded into village panchayats. Stating that the KCR government has offered as many as 12,751 tractors to panchayats like never before, He said KCR has plan and vision for rural development. The TRS government got credit for these development programs, he added. (Maxim News)
