KCR Committed SC Welfare: Eshwar

Hyderabad, Oct.11 (Maxim News): Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar today directed officials concerned to provide better facilities in the Gurukul institutions for SC welfare in the State.

At a review meeting here today, Koppula Eshwar said the State government was committed for welfare of the SCs to push them up socially and economically. He also asked the officials to conduct necessary publicity to take the programs to people’s doorsteps. “Our aim is to spend funds to achieve all round development of the SCs in the State”, Eshwar said, adding that the State government was implementing schemes through 43 departments for all-round development of the SCs.

He asked the officials to clear applications coming for Kalyana Lakshmi marriage scheme for people. The minister said the overseas scholarship program was proving handy for the students going abroad. “Conduct frequent check-ups for facilities and menu items in the NSWO hostels.
