KCR decided in TRS executive to fight on Centre on paddy, rice Singareni: Niranjan Reddy

Hyderabad, Dec.17 (Maxim News): TRS boss and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today decided to fight against the BJP government in the Centre over its anti farmers Policy. KCR announced a war like protests over the Centre for its failure to procure paddy and boiled rice. From December 20 onwards the TRS leaders and activists will take up protests in the state including rural areas, he said after chairing the TRS executive meeting at Telangana Bhavan here.

The CM directed the Ministers, MPs, MLAs, district leaders and mandals to conduct protests on the centre to give clarity on state demands.

Later, Minister Niranjan Reddy informed media persons that a team of Ministers, MPs will leave to Delhi on Saturday. Reddy said that they will meet the union minister Piyush Goyal on the same issue. We will demand him to shift Paddy and rice stocks from the state.

He said that KCR asked farmers to prepare for alternative crops instead of paddy as the centre denied. He ridiculed the union ministers for falsehood and lies. As directed by KCR, we will fight to mount pressure on the BJP Government at the Centre on state issues like Singareni coal mines, Paddy, rice and others.

The TRS supremo has addressed the meeting and gave them directions about state policy in the farmers issues he said. He asked them to fight until our demands are to be met and the centre gives clarity and lift Paddy and rice stocks. We already procured them and it is now the Centre has to shift them through FCI, Niranjan Reddy said. The aim of the protests to take on the Centre for its anti people and anti farmers policies.

The Chief Minister hit out at the Centre against its proposal to sell out or privatize four of the Singareni mines against the state and workers interests. The CM instructed to counter the Centre, prepare the MPs, MLAs at their level to counter the opposition parties for their continuous charges on the government and its programs.

KCR directed the MPs and MLAs and others to counter and fight at national, state and district level against the Centre, opposition parties. He is to direct the MPs and MLAs and others to campaign on Welfare schemes and development programs in a big way and fight at national level over paddy, rice and state issues.

The CM will address a collector’s conference on Dec 18 on Dalit Bandhu, Pattana pragathi, palle pragathi, haritha haram and other schemes of development and welfare. The Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will hold a meeting with District Collectors at Pragathi Bhavan on Dec 18 to be attended by Ministers, Chief Secretary, Somesh Kumar and senior officials.

KCR is to take up district tours from Dec 19 to inaugurate collector offices, rythu bandhu offices and participate in some development programs According to sources. (Maxim News)
