KCR Deeksha Anniversary | Hyderabad, Nov. 29: BRS working president K T Rama Rao recalled the early days of the Telangana movement as the KCR Deeksha Anniversary arrived.
He shared a post on X and remembered the moment when K Chandrashekar Rao began his fast at Algunur in Karimnagar. He noted that the arrest of KCR on the same day sixteen years ago changed the course of state history.
KTR stated that November 29 marked a turning point for the region. He said that the day pushed the demand for statehood into the national spotlight.
Moreover, he added that the arrest triggered a wave of public support across districts. He posted an old video that showed the tense scenes during the arrest. The clip showed police moving KCR to Khammam Jail.
