KCR Gave Rs 1 Cr Each To MLAs In TS Bhavan In 1 Day: Revanth
Hyderabad, Aug.25 (Maxim News): Alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao distributed Rs 100 crore in a single day in the Telangana Bhavan, Congress leader A Revanth Reddy alleged that the ruling party gave Rs one crore to each MLA in boxes.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Revanth Reddy said some TRS MLAs themselves informed him about it. “We have pucca information in this regard and the Intelligence should conduct inquiry into this”, he demanded. He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was KCR’s high command and TRS was the branch of Telangana BJP, he quipped. He alleged that KCR was indulging in secret activities for the sake of early elections. He said the CM’s statement that 25 lakh people would attend the Pragathi Nivedhana meeting was a drama. He dared IT Minister KT Ramarao to bring at least 25,000 people from Sircilla.
Leader of the Opposition in Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir said the Congress was ready for elections even this mid-night. Alleging that KCR announced in the TRSLP meeting that all sitting MLAs will be given Rs 10 crore each for election expenses, Shabbir Ali said the TRS chief’s announcement was against election rules. He asked the Election Commission to take the statement of KCR as suo motu. He said the Congress would lodge a complaint with the Election Commission against KCR’s remarks. (Maxim News)
