KCR Govt Ignored Warnings Of Weather Dept: Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, July 29 (Maxim News): Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president and MP Revanth Reddy has criticized Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s government saying that KCR is giving more attention to party defections and not to the lives of Telangana people.  

Revanth Reddy who was on a visit to Uppal, was furious with the KCR Sarkar, he accused the government of ignoring the weather department’s early warnings about heavy rains and floods.  He expressed anger that KCR focused on politics without reviewing the flood threat.  He said that the government has completely failed in undertaking flood relief measures.  He questioned why KCR did not go to visit even though 30 people died due to floods.  Revanth demanded that the central government immediately release Rs. 1,000 crore to Telangana under temporary flood relief.  (Maxim News)
