Hyderabad, Aug.17 (Maxim News): Senior Congress leader and former TPCC president Ponnala Laxmaiah on Saturday claimed that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was not a native of the Telangana State. He also said he would bow before the Chief Minister if he did good work for development of the State.
Recalling the statement of KCR that he would show his true rule from August 15, 2019, Ponnala asked the Chief Minister whether he was ready to admit he did not govern the State properly in the last nine months. Pointing out that the Congress government had introduced Aarogyasri scheme, Ponnala asked the Chief Minister if the suspension of Aarogyasri services by network hospitals fell under the category of good governance.
Addressing mediapersons here, he also alleged that welfare schemes like Kalyana Laxmi, Shadi Mubarak and Rythu Bandhu were pending and unemployed youth were not getting unemployment allowance.
Alleging that the Chief Minister pushed the State under debt burden of Rs 2 lakh crore, the former minister alleged that fee reimbursement scheme was diluted by the TRS Government. He alleged that public representatives like village Sarpanches were being suspended for not planting saplings. He also alleged that the Chief Minister was introducing several schemes only for indulging in corruption. (Maxim News)
