Hyderabad, Sept.22 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will meet his AP counterpart YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Pragathi Bhavan here on Monday to discuss about the Godavari water sharing, bifurcation and related issues.
According to the information, they will find a solution to shift Godavari waters to Srisailam, Rayalaseema, Krishna Basin and other districts in the two States. KCR and Jagan are keen on finding a solution to the long-pending State bifurcation issues. Since the officials of Telangana and AP have already discussed on the key issues, Monday’s meeting turns crucial.
The CMs are said to go ahead to shift Godavari waters to AP and also to discuss bifurcation issues. As per directive of Jagan and KCR, officials of the two Telugu States have prepared a draft plan on Godavari waters shifting and bifurcation. If the meeting gets fructified, AP will get waters through lift to Srisailam, Rayalaseema region, Krishna Basin, Nalgonda and Palamur districts. (Maxim News)
