KCR keen on self-respect of BCs: Talasani
Hyderabad, Feb.20 (Maxim News): Telangana Chief Minister KCR is keen on the welfare and development of Backward classes and his idea is that B Cs should live with self-respect, said Minister for Animal Husbandry Talasani Srinivas Yadav today. He said the earlier rulers in the united Andhra Pradesh treated BCs as a vote bank only.
Ministers Srinivas Yadav, Gangula Kamalakar, Srinivas Goud participated in the foundation stone laying for the Meru Bhavan and Medara Bhavan at Uppal Bhagayat here, along with MLA Subhash Reddy. Speaking on the occasion, Srinivas Yadav called upon thr B Cs to remain United and strive for their welfare and development. He flayed the earlier governments saying they never shown interest in development of B Cs.
The minister stated that after formation of Telangana state, B Cs developed socially and economically. He said the credit for alloting lands and funds for building Self-respect bhavans for different castes in B Cs went to KCR.
