KCR Recognized Role Of Farmers: Niranjan
Hyderabad, Dec.23 (Maxim News): Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy today said that Telangana recognized the role of the farmers to the country, when other States were forgetting them. Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao has proved it to the nation that farming is feasible and it can bring benefits, he said.
Along with panchayat raj minister E Dayakar Rao, Niranjan Reddy has inaugurated Benishan company being run by women farm producers. Stating that the Government would offer support price to farm production, the minister advised the company to focus on meat business and production.
On the occasion, the agriculture minister praised KCR for his vision, which has transformed the new state to achieve development in all sectors. KCR has taken a decision and proved in six years that farming can be done and that production can be increased. Entire nation looks at Telangana for welfare schemes and for better farming in the state, he claimed.
The farmers are backbone to the country as they give food to all, he said. KCR is supporting them for pushing the farm produce. Telangana is able to cater to the needs of the country with its increased farm production and with all types of crops.
He said that no other state has taken up programs like Telangana which offers several schemes like Rythu Bandhu, Ryghu Bhima, free power and Rs 5 lakh crop insurance to farmers. (Maxim News)
