KCR Totally Negleted Agriculture Sector: Kodanda Reddy

Hyderabad, Jan.4 (Maxim News): Vice-president of AICC Kisan Congress Cell M. Kodanda reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao completely ignored agriculture sector, including sugarcane farmers. He also alleged that the Chief Minister has forgotten his promise of reviving the Nizam Sugar Factory.

Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Kodanda Reddy said Chief Minister had not made efforts to establish a Turmeric Board in Nizamabad district. Stating that the growth of the agriculture sector was equally important for the growth of the GDP in the State, he said there would have been some response from the Centre had the Chief Minister wrote a letter to it on the sugar factory issue.

Kodanda Reddy made it clear that the criminal “negligence” of both the Centre and the State government were responsible for non-establishment of Turmeric Board. He also alleged that both the State and Central governments had miserably failed to set up the turmeric board. (Maxim News)
