Kejriwal Likely To Be Arrested: Another Case Wrapped Around The Neck!

Delhi/Hyderabad, March 17 (Maxim News): After the release of the schedule for the Lok Sabha general Election, important developments are taking place in the country’s politics.  Enforcement Directorate (ED) has already arrested Telangana MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha in the Delhi Liquor Scam case before the elections.  Arguments are heard that another arrest is inevitable in this order.  It is none other than Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

ED has already issued notices to him 9 times in the Delhi Liquor Scam case.  Even though he did not come before the ED even once, he made accusations against the ED.  There is talk that his arrest is also wrong in this order.  It is known that AAP minister and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia were arrested in February last year.

The Aam Aadmi Party said on Sunday that the Enforcement Directorate has once again issued a summons to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the money laundering investigation related to irregularities in the Delhi Jal Board (DJB).

This is the second case registered against Kejriwal under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, AAP leader and Delhi Minister Atishi said in a press conference on Sunday that the party is not aware of the case registered by the Enforcement Directorate.  She also termed the case as ‘fake’.

“Arvind Kejriwal has received another summons from the Enforcement Directorate.  They asked him to participate in some inquiries related to the Delhi Jal Board.  We are not aware of any case registered by the Enforcement Directorate in this regard.  Arvind Kejriwal was summoned in this.  It is a fake case, said Atishi.

She said that no one knows about the Delhi Jal Board and expressed doubts about whether there will be the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi Liquor Scam case.  “The Center has started a backup plan to arrest Arvind Kejriwal, ” Atishi said.

Kejriwal alleged that all the summons being sent to him were against the law.  Kejriwal had earlier stated that the ED summons was illegal, but he was ready to answer the authorities through video conference.  Kejriwal lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  he alleged that opposition leaders are being harassed by ED and forced to join the BJP.
