King Of Bhutan Takes Holy Bath With UP CM At Mahakumbh Mela

Prayagraj/Hyderabad, Feb 4 (Maxim News): Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck participated in the world’s largest spiritual fair, the Maha Kumbh. On Tuesday morning, he took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam in prayagraj along with the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Later, he participated in the Ganga Aarti.

Bhutanese king Wangchuck arrived in Lucknow on Monday. He was warmly welcomed by CM Yogi Adityanath. Yogi Adityanath also shared this on social media. Meanwhile, the presence of the Bhutanese king at the Maha Kumbh has gained significance, further strengthening the spiritual and cultural ties between India and Bhutan.

Many dignitaries and devotees from both countries participated in the Ganga Aarti and Puja ceremonies. The king of Bhutan, who arrived in India on Monday, was welcomed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport. He presented a bouquet and inquired about his well-being. Artists welcomed Wangchuk with Indian cultural performances. (Maxim News)
