Hyderabad, Aug.1 (Maxim News): Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G.Kishan Reddy was disappointed at the arrangements made at the Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) by state government . Reddy visited the institute today and expressed his displeasure over the arrangements made at the institute. He told the officials that the more full proof arrangements were needed to be made at the institute.
He adviced the state government to take steps to improve the infrastructure at the institute and immediately fill up vacant posts of doctors and Para medical staff. He also adviced the state government to turn the institute into a 1000 bedded hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the number of tests being done were very less in the state and added that the virus could he contained if the tests were increased. He said that had visited more hospitals in his second phase of the hospital visit and added that he visited hospitals like Erragadda chest hospital, Ayurvedik hospital, TIMS and Gandhi hospital and found out the problems being faced by the patients and the staff of the hospitals. Reddy said that there was a need to increase the number of Covid 19 tests and added that the central government was extending all kinds of support to the state in the issue.
He said that the Covid 19 tests should be performed at all basti hospitals of the state capital and added that the tests should be performed all the seekers of the tests. He said that the virus was contained in national capital New Delhi due to the increase in the Covid 19 cases and added that the recovery rate of the patients in Delhi was 84 percent now. (Maxim News)
