Kishan Reddy Questions BRS’s Boycott In MLC Elections
Hyderabad, April 21, (Maxim News): Union Minister and BJP Telangana president Kishan Reddy has raised questions over the BRS party’s decision not to contest the upcoming local body MLC elections in Hyderabad.
Speaking at a media conference at the BJP state office in Nampally, Kishan Reddy demanded that BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) explain why his party is staying away from the elections despite having a significant vote share. “On what grounds is BRS avoiding the contest, even though it has a large number of corporators?” he asked.
Kishan Reddy alleged that KCR has no trust in his own party members, claiming that the BRS leadership is instructing corporators not to participate in the election.
He also accused the Congress of colluding with the AIMIM (Majlis party), saying the alliance is working behind the scenes.
Highlighting the BJP’s stance, Kishan Reddy said that his party is contesting the MLC elections to expose what he called the “unholy nexus” between the BRS, Congress, and AIMIM (Majlis party).
He expressed confidence in the BJP’s victory, stating that the public is now aware of the behind-the-scenes political arrangements among these parties. (Maxim News)
