Kishen Reddy Clarifies He Was Invited For Metro Function—Condemns False Allegation

Hyderabad, Feb.16 (Maxim News): Union Minister of State G Kishan Reddy said he was invited by State Government for function related to inauguration of JBS-MGBS Metro rail, and there was no truth in the allegation that protocol was not followed by the State Government and he was not invited.

It may be mentioned that the State BJP president Dr Laxman had alleged yesterday that the State Government had violated the protocol by not inviting the Union Minister who happens to be the MP of the area concerned. Kishen Reddy condemned such statements.

Meanwhile, Telangana state Minister Thalasani Srinivas Yadav had said that he himself had invited the Union Minister of State for the function and there was no breach of protocol. He also said that in the inaugural stone, the name of Kishen Reddy was also mentioned, along with the Chief Minister KCR, and there was no truth in the allegations of BJP leaders. (Maxim News)
