Kodanda Reddy Accuses Govt Of Harassing Farmers
Hyderabad, Nov.25 (Maxim News): All India Kisan Congress Vice President M Kodanda Reddy on Monday accused the State government of harassing the farmers in the State. He also alleged that the State government had created problems for the farmers by giving loan waiver benefit for six times in the past.
Speaking to mediapersons, Kodanda Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has failed to take up the problems being faced by the farmers. He made it clear that they opposed the policies of Rythu Samanvaya Samiti. He demanded that the State government extend the benefit of Rythu Bandhu scheme to all the farmers instead of considering it as a scheme to benefit the ruling party in the elections.
Kodanda Reddy said the farmers faced a lot of problems in the purification of revenue records. He said several lakhs of farmers have not received their passbooks so far. He said the State government has failed to make any announcement or a statement on the murder of Abdullapurmet Tehsildar. He warned the State government that it would face the wrath of the farmers if its harassment didn’t stop against them. (Maxim News)
