No Border Line Wall Before Commercial Establishments: KTR

Hyderabad, Nov.25 (Maxim News): MA&UD Minister K. Taraka Ramarao, instructed the GHMC officials to ensure that there should not be any border line wall / frame in front of commercial establishments in the city.

Presiding over review meeting with the officials along with Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, Dy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin, Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar, GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar, Chief Engineer and other senior officials, the Minister discussed on the development of footpaths and instructed them to develop and lay new footpath at least 10km in Each Zone. Apart from development of walk-ways and footpaths, the officials should also develop new roads of 10 Km in each Zone.

Regarding the flyover incident, KTR said a committee has been constituted to study Bio-diversity flyover and other flyover incidents in the city. On submission of committee report, the Bio-Diversity flyover will be opened for public, he added.

On the successes of recent special program conducted by the GHMC for collection of waste material in all wards and program of Swachh ward was conducted in Mehdipatnam, the Minister asked the officials to take up such activities in all the wards. He also asked the officials to complete the LRS applications by December 2019 and introduce night sweeping. (Maxim News)
