Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao lambasted Telangana Jana Samithi president M Kodandaram, stating that he mortgaged his self-respect to the bosses of Delhi and Amaravati for the sake of four Assembly seats. He said that Kodandaram was appointed as the chairman of Prajakutami manifesto committee, as part of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu’s poll strategy, eyeing votes in the State.
“In the past, the TRS offered him centrestage by making him the chairman of Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC). But Kodandaram has now joined hands with the parties which once tried to destabilise TJAC and attacked him politically,” he said. He said TJS was being nominated for leftover seats where the Congress would surely lose.
