Kokapet Land Auction | Hyderabad, Sept. 10: HMDA’s Kokapet land e auction drew strong interest, with bidders quoting premium prices for prime plots.
The auction covered valuable land parcels in the Kokapet area. One plot in Golden Mile Site 1 attracted a top bid of ₹115 crore per acre.
HMDA had fixed ₹70 crore per acre as the upset price for the 0.70 acre plot. The highest bid therefore stood ₹45 crore above the base price.
The auction also covered Plot 17 in the Neopolis layout. The plot measures 4.59 acres.
Only one bid was submitted for the Neopolis plot. However, the bidder quoted ₹120 crore per acre.
The bids highlight the strong demand for premium land in Kokapet. The area has emerged as one of Hyderabad’s key commercial and real estate locations.
Kokapet Land Auction Sees Premium Bids
The latest auction reflects the high value that investors place on strategically located land parcels in western Hyderabad.
Kokapet forms part of Hyderabad’s fast growing western corridor. The area has seen major development in commercial, residential and infrastructure projects.
Meanwhile, Neopolis has attracted significant attention because of its large planned development parcels. Golden Mile has also emerged as a premium location within the Kokapet growth corridor.
HMDA uses e auctions to dispose of selected land parcels through competitive bidding. The upset price provides the starting benchmark for bidders.
In the Golden Mile auction, competition pushed the quoted price well above that benchmark. The ₹115 crore per acre bid marks a sharp premium over the ₹70 crore upset price.
The Neopolis plot also drew a high valuation despite receiving only one bid. The ₹120 crore per acre quote shows the willingness of bidders to pay for prime locations.
The final value of each plot will depend on the applicable auction conditions and payment process. HMDA will follow the prescribed procedures for completing the transactions.
The strong bids also underline the continued investor interest in Hyderabad’s western growth belt. Kokapet has benefited from its proximity to major business districts and expanding urban infrastructure.
The latest auction could further reinforce Kokapet’s position as a premium land market in Hyderabad. It also provides another indicator of demand for large, strategically located development parcels.
