Komatireddy faults KCR’s call to scrap Indian Constitution
Hyderabad, Feb.2 (Maxim News): Faulting the assertion of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao that the Indian Constitution must be replaced with new one, Congress MP Komatireddy Venkata Reddy on Wednesday reminded that the Indian Constitutlon penned by Dr B R Ambedkar was alone responsible for the formation of backward Telangana region into separate State.
In a statement here today, the Congress leader ridiculed the Chief Minister’s call for scrapping of the Constitution. Alleging that Chandrasekhara Rao was talking in a short temper, he alleged that the latter was backing the BJP government from the beginning. The Congress leader said he had called on Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi recently and pleaded for laying sixth line on the National Highway between Hyderabad and Vijayawada. He had also urged the Union Minister to take immediate steps to withdraw the GMR contract and speed up road works on a war-footing, he added. (Maxim News)
