Konda Surekha slams Etela, reveals why he opted for BJP

Hyderabad, August 9: Telangana Congress leader Konda Surekha has disclosed in an interview that she and her husband met Eatala Rajender and invited him to join the Congress. She has expressed surprise over Eatala opting to associate with the BJP when he can get support of all political parties except the TRS if he contests as an independent in Huzurabad by-election.

“Eatala had told us that he will not join the BJP despite facing trouble from the ruling TRS government,” she revealed. However, Surekha has opined that he decided to joined the BJP to get shield from land cases.
