Hyderabad, Sept. 10: BRS working president K T Rama Rao accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of favouring his brothers in bringing investments to Telangana.
KTR alleged that the Congress government allotted land worth Rs 200 crore to Tesseract Advanced Systems for Rs 7 crore.
He claimed the company belongs to Revanth Reddy’s younger brother Kondal Reddy.
KTR and BRS leaders, including Harish Rao, inspected the disputed land in Fourth City.
KTR Questions Land Allocation and Government Policy
KTR alleged that Revanth Reddy brought investments of Rs 1,000 crore through industrialist Anumula Jagadeeshwar Reddy.
He also questioned the reported Rs 250 crore allocation linked to Anumula Kondal Reddy.
KTR asked whether such transactions amounted to proper public administration.
He also questioned the BJP’s response to the alleged land allocations involving the Chief Minister’s brothers.
KTR referred to BJP claims that Telangana had become an ATM for the Congress party.
He questioned why the Union government had not ordered action over the allegations.
KTR also questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the reported US investment agreements.
He asked why similar questions were not raised about Revanth Reddy’s alleged dealings.
KTR further demanded ED or CBI investigations into the allegations.
He said BRS leaders would continue raising the government’s alleged corruption and irregularities before the public.
KTR also alleged that BRS MLAs were suspended from the Assembly to prevent them from questioning the government.
