Hyderabad, Aug 11 (Maxim News) : BRS working president KTR has accused the Telangana government of handing over valuable land to a company for a fraction of its alleged market value.
KTR alleged that the government allotted five acres worth about ₹200 crore to Tesseract for only ₹7 crore. He also alleged a link between the company and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s brother, Kondal Reddy.
KTR made the allegations while attacking the Revanth Reddy government over the reported land allocation. He demanded a detailed investigation into the deal and questioned the company’s credentials.
According to KTR, Tesseract does not have any employees. He claimed the company itself disclosed that it had no employees as of March 31, 2025.
He also questioned the contact details listed by the company. KTR cited the number 123456789 and said it raised questions about the company’s credibility.
KTR further alleged that Kondal Reddy serves as Tesseract’s chairman. He said Kondal Reddy’s LinkedIn profile also identifies him with the company.
KTR questions minister over Tesseract land deal
KTR said Tesseract secured the land by citing plans to manufacture aerospace and defence equipment. He alleged that the company lacked the required experience for such a major project.
He also questioned IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu’s reported claim that Tesseract had no connection with the Chief Minister’s family.
KTR asked how the government could deny the connection if Kondal Reddy’s professional profile identifies him as the company’s chairman.
He further compared the Telangana issue with allegations involving land allocations in Karnataka. KTR said political accountability should apply equally when questions arise over government land.
The BRS leader also referred to other deals involving people connected to the Chief Minister. He alleged that a ₹1,000 crore clean technology deal and ₹1,137 crore AMRUT contracts reflected favouritism.
KTR also alleged that Tirupati Reddy, another relative of the Chief Minister, exercises influence despite holding no formal government position. These claims form part of KTR’s broader criticism of the state government’s handling of official matters.
