KTR Announces Yuva Sangrama Sabha On July 18 In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, July 16 (Maxim News): Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.Tarak Rama Rao (KTR) on Thursday alleged that the Congress government has lost the trust of the people by failing to implement its election promises. He claimed that the government has disappointed women, farmers, youth, students, and other sections of society during its tenure.

KTR made the remarks while addressing a meeting of BRS MLAs, MLCs, public representatives, and senior party leaders in Hyderabad. The meeting also reviewed preparations for the Yuva Sangrama Sabha, which the party will organise at Saroor Nagar Indoor Stadium on July 18.

According to KTR, the Congress government has failed to fulfil commitments made through its election declarations. He alleged that instead of focusing on governance and public welfare, the government has become associated with corruption, administrative failures, and unfulfilled promises.

Furthermore, KTR claimed that the Congress government had not delivered on assurances made to farmers, unemployed youth, students, and women. He also criticised Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, alleging that the government’s policies have led to growing public dissatisfaction across Telangana.

Referring to the agriculture sector, KTR alleged that farmers are facing severe hardships due to water shortages and drought like conditions. He claimed that farmers have repeatedly sought irrigation water and urged the government to address their concerns on priority.

The BRS leader also accused the Congress government of failing to implement the commitments made under its Youth Declaration. Therefore, he said the party has been organising public meetings across Telangana to highlight what it describes as the government’s failure to honour its pre-election promises.

Following the party’s farmers’ meeting in Warangal, BRS will now organise the Yuva Sangrama Sabha on July 18 at Saroor Nagar Indoor Stadium. The event will focus on issues concerning youth, students, and unemployed people, according to the party.

Ahead of the programme, KTR held a review meeting at the residence of LB Nagar MLA Sudhir Reddy with Hyderabad city legislators, public representatives, and senior party leaders. The leaders discussed organisational arrangements, logistics, and mobilisation plans for the convention.

KTR also advised party leaders to remain prepared for any administrative or logistical challenges during the event. Meanwhile, senior BRS leaders informed him that large numbers of youth from Hyderabad and neighbouring Assembly constituencies are expected to attend the convention.

The Yuva Sangrama Sabha forms part of the BRS campaign to raise political issues ahead of future elections and present its criticism of the Congress government’s performance in Telangana. (Maxim News)
