KTR Calls Kakatiya Mega Textile Park A Symbol Of Telangana’s Progress

Hyderabad, Oct 19 (Maxim News): BRS working president KTR said the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park in Warangal stands as the true example of Telangana’s rapid progress under the leadership of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. He termed it a major job creator and economic contributor since Azam Jahi Mill was shut down in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.

Taking to X, Rama Rao said Warangal once thrived as an industrial hub that provided employment to thousands and even supplied electricity to Warangal and Hanamkonda during the Azam Jahi Mills era. The mill’s closure was a result of negligence by the rulers of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.

The idea of establishing the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park was born out of Chandrashekhar Rao’s vision to restore Warangal’s past industrial glory and create new employment opportunities for Telangana’s youth. “The seed that was planted then is now growing steadily,” he said.

The BRS leader noted that the park had already begun generating significant local employment, with companies such as Ganesha, Ganesha Ecosphere, Young One, and Kitex setting up their units.

“The Kakatiya Mega Textile Park is a living testament to the bright progress Telangana achieved between 2014 and 2023,” he said. (Maxim News)
