KTR Claims BRS Worked Sincerely On SC Classification 

Hyderabad, Aug 1 (Maxim News):  BRS Working President and MLA K.Tarak Rama Rao said that BRS welcomes the Supreme Court verdict in favor of SC classification. It is the victory of Madigalu’s struggle for SC classification. He said that BRS has worked sincerely for SC classification since the beginning. KTR reminded that all other political parties have politicized votes on this issue. They felt that the SCs were cheated by one group in support of classification in a single party and another group against it.

He said that BRS is the only SC category, unlike other parties, we have not heard two arguments in the same party. He said that KCR was the only one who thought about this issue not from a political perspective but from a social justice perspective. KCR said that the demand for Telangana is just as fair as the demand for SC classification. That is why when BRS came to power in the state, a resolution was passed in the assembly on SC classification.

It is said that KCR went to Delhi and gave a letter to Prime Minister Modi asking for SC classification in his capacity as CM. KTR also mentioned that KCR said that SC classification is my responsibility. Apart from that, KCR had also previously requested that states should be given authority regarding SC classification. He said that now the Supreme Court has clarified the same point.

The population of sub-castes belonging to SCs varies from state to state. According to that, it is a good thing to empower the state governments to do the SC classification.

KTR demanded that the Congress government start the process of classification in the state based on the Supreme Court verdict. He said that we will cooperate with the government on behalf of BRS. (Maxim News)
