KTR inaugurates Maangalya stores

Hyderabad, January 3: One stop bridal and family clothing store, Maangalya was inaugurated by Telangana Rastra Samiti working president Mr. K Taraka Rama Rao. Cine actress Ms. Kajal Agarwal also attended the inauguration. Maangalyais a family shopping center and the collection features wide range of clothing for men, women and kids in extensive colour combinations to suit all occasions at pocket friendly prices. Maangalya gains utmost customer satisfaction by keeping in mind the changing trends, by presenting greater varieties, innovative designs, to suit all ages and occasions.

Maangalya management invited around 5000 people from the surrounding areas of Madinaguda in a traditional south Indian way with a ‘Tambulam’ and an invite. Also, yesterday, the store organized a bike rally in which 60 men and women wearing traditional wedding attire participated and zoomed in 25 Kms around Madinaguda and Chandanagar areas. Maangalya is spread across 20000 sq ft. has come up with an investment of about Rs. 10 crores, providing employment to 250 people.

Established in 1945, Kasam Pullaiah cloth store stole the hearts of the people of Warangal. In 1948, due to Razakar’s movement, Mr. Pullaiah left to Bandar and returned in 1951 to continue his business. After demise of Mr. Pullaiah in 1986, his four sons with the help of his son-in-law Mr. P N Murthy maintained 15 clothing stores till 2008. In 2012, first Maangalya mall was inaugurated in Hanumakonda in partnership with Mr. Murthy which was followed by one in Karimnagar and Siddipet in 2015 and 2018. Mr. Pullaiah’s sons are into this joint family venture. In 2008, they have started an apparel manufacturing unit named Liquid Apparels which manufactures men’s apparels. In 2016, they started ethnic clothing range in the name of Swayamwar, with 20 stores in different cities like Bombay, Pune, Jaipur, Bangalore, Hyderabad.
