KTR Instructs TO Complete Musheerabad Steel Bridge Within Three Months

Hyderabad, Mar 4 (Maxim News): Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, IT and Industries, K.Tarak Rama Rao has made a surprise visit to Musheerabad Constituency. As part of the visit, KTR inspected the works of the Steel Bridge and works undertaken under Sixth National Development Project (SNDP) being constructed from Lower Tank Bund to VST and made suitable suggestions.

On this occasion, KTR said that the steel bridge is going to become a landmark for Central Hyderabad city. KTR ordered the officials to complete the bridge work within three months. If necessary, additional teams should be formed to speed up the work. For the 2.8 km long four-span steel bridge, the GHMC is contributing its cost component of Rs. 440 crores. After the construction of the steel bridge, there will be relief from the traffic problems.

KTR also reviewed the work being done in Hussain Sagar Surplus Nala. KTR inspected the ongoing retaining wall construction work at Ashok Nagar. He said that many programs have been undertaken to reduce the flood flow. He made it clear that huge funds had been allocated for the Hussain Sagar Surplus Nala and directed the officials to complete all the works by the rainy season. (Maxim News)
