Hyderabad: K. T. Rama Rao made sharp remarks on the Congress government during a debate in the Assembly. He questioned governance and raised concerns over public issues. His comments came while speaking on the motion of thanks to the Governor’s address.
KTR said there is no improvement in people’s lives and alleged that the government is leading what he called a “disaster rule.” He stated that it is a Congress government that “destroys, demolishes, spoils.. This is the rule of the Congress government.” His remarks focused on governance, welfare, and accountability.
KTR Remarks on Congress and Welfare Promises
Meanwhile, KTR questioned what happened to public administration applications submitted by 1.25 crore people for six guarantees. He said guarantee cards are being mocked as outstanding cards. He raised concerns about the delay in implementing promised welfare schemes.
Referring to cricket, he said India won the T20 World Cup. He added that “if the same 420 World Cup is given, Congress will come first.” He also alleged that the government is exaggerating its work. He remarked that they claim more than what they have delivered.
Concerns Over Missing File and Governance
Furthermore, KTR questioned the whereabouts of the first signed file related to welfare schemes. He demanded that a SIT be formed to probe the missing file. He also raised concerns about houses being submerged in the Musi and said there is no value given to such issues.
He stated that there is “zero value” for the first signature made by Revanth Reddy after taking office. He also claimed that Congress guarantee cards and declarations hold no value among the public. He added that the government has lost credibility.
KTR also criticized the Chief Minister’s statements. He said that when Revanth Reddy speaks, he claims to be Karna. He added that he was “Danakarna before the elections.. and now he is Kumbhakarna.” He further alleged that declarations made earlier are not being implemented.
He also expressed concern that Telangana’s funds are being used for Congress campaigns in other states. His remarks have intensified political debate in the state Assembly.
