KTR unveils handloom shawl featuring a QR code that showcases Telangana’s history, culture, and development, marking a unique blend of tradition and technology. BRS Working President and former minister K T Rama Rao unveiled the specially designed shawl at his Nandi Nagar residence. The event highlighted innovation within the handloom sector while also drawing attention to the state’s cultural heritage.
The shawl was woven by noted weaver Nalla Vijay Kumar from Sircilla. It presents visual elements connected to Telangana’s rich history. It also reflects prominent temples, iconic structures, and traditional practices. In addition, the shawl highlights landmark initiatives associated with former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, including Mission Bhagiratha and the Kaleshwaram projects.
