Hyderabad, Dec.30 (Maxim News): IT Minister KT Rama Rao today urged the Central Government to provide funds for development in GHMC and Warangal districts.
The Minister has urged the Centre to offer adequate funds for Sewage Master Plan in GHMC purview in the twin cities and Strategic Nalas, and Sewage Master Plans in its budget.
The Minister has written separate letters to union Civil Aviation Ministers Hardeep Singh Puri and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to allocate 20 per cent of funds in the Union budget.
The minister explained that the state government is keen to develop the Roads, Nalas and sewage in the GHMC, Warangal and other cities and towns. We have prepared plans for the same and the Centre has to extend necessary cooperation by providing funding for the same, the minister urged.
He urged the Centre to provide funds for the Government plan to set up a Metro Neo Plant in Warangal city. The minister further explained about the plans of development programs in various cities and towns under the municipal wing.
The programs include waste management, human waste treatment plant, bio mining and underground drainage facilities in the cities and towns. The Minister has urged the Central ministers to give funds generously and help complete several development programs in the state of Telangana. (Maxim News)
