KTR’s Response is Not Political Strategy, It’s Surrender: BV Raghavulu

Hyderabad: CPM politburo member BV Raghavulu has called on Prime Minister Modi to explain why the BJP’s seats decreased in the recent parliamentary elections if the entire country has developed as claimed.

Raghavulu made these remarks in response to comments made by the Prime Minister during his visit to Russia. Additionally, he noted that KTR mentioned they would act on issues on a case-by-case basis in Parliament. Raghavulu criticized this stance, stating that such a response is not a political strategy but a surrender. He emphasized that a political decision against the BJP is necessary for India’s survival.

Modi is making comments without reflecting on the reasons behind the decrease in BJP’s seats. The BJP flooded the election with money. It is alarming that the party’s vote bank increased from 19 to 35 percent in Telangana. Congress failed to control the BJP in the state. It is concerning that the saffron party won only one seat in Kerala. The BJP’s victory there was due to Congress viewing communists as opposition.

Modi acts as a servant of corporate forces. No party has made the sacrifices that the CPM has made in advancing the INDI Alliance. Even though CPM and Congress adjusted their seats in West Bengal, not a single national leader of Congress campaigned. The CPM’s goal is to save the country, not just gain votes or seats.

The CPM has a responsibility to remove sectarianism from the minds of Telangana people. The government in Telangana needs to collapse, and CM Revanth Reddy must unite the secular forces to counter the conspiracies of the BJP. Raghavulu added that Kishan Reddy is merely reciting the assurances given by the state government while ignoring the burdens imposed by the center on the people.  (Maxim News)
