Kuntia Slams BJP For Dumping Gandhi, Pats Party Men For Making Oct 2 As Grand Success

Hyderabad, Oct.3 (Maxim News): AICC State incharge RC Kuntia on Thursday thanked the party leaders and workers for making the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi a grand success.

Taking potshots at the BJP leaders, Kuntia alleged that the saffron party leaders although talk much about Mahatma Gandhi, had also built temples for his assassin Nathuram Godse. He also alleged that the BJP leaders had used Gandhiji’s spectacles and his name for their publicity.

Commenting on the Huzurnagar Assembly constituency by-election, Kuntia urged the party leaders to work hard for the victory of Padmavathi Reddy. He said senior party leaders like Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Jana Reddy, Revanth Reddy and TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy would feverishly campaign for the party candidate. He also alleged that the ruling party leaders have conspired to defeat Padmavathi Reddy in Kodada Assembly constituency in the last year’s Assembly elections.

He said the TRS had lost elections in seven Lok Sabha seats. Alleging that the ruling party was scared of facing a defeat at Huzurnagar, Kuntia said the fear of defeat had prompted the TRS to seek support of the CPI. He made it clear that the ruling TRS would be defeated in Huzurnagar Assembly poll. (Maxim News)
