KCR Leaves For Delhi To Take Up State Issues With PM

Hyderabad, Oct.3 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today left for the national capital New Delhi.

According to information, the Chief Minister will stay in New Delhi for two days and will plead for Central funds for linking the Godavari and Krishna, irrigation projects and development. KCR is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 4 at 11.30 am and would take up State issues with Modi during their meeting.

KCR is likely to urge the Modi regime to offer national status to Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project and funds for flagship programs in the infant State. He would also seek Modi’s support for Telangana development and release of arrears under several schemes. He will also urge the Centre on devolution of funds under various schemes. (Maxim News)
