Hyderabad, Feb 15 (Maxim News): Cyber Crime police arrested an accused lady person aged about 31 years, of Chennai, Tamilnadu for providing bank account to cyber fraudsters on a commission basis to cheat innocent people.

According to the Jt.commissioner of Police, Detective Department, CCS, A.V. Ranganath, said that the accused lady colluded with Cyber fraudsters and cheated innocent people on the pretext of a part-time job to work from home where they had to like and subscribe the YouTube videos and made him invest the money. For committing these cyber frauds, the accused provided bank accounts to the cyber fraudsters to cheat innocent people. The accused lady aged about 31 years has opened a Bank account in her name and provided the same to one lady who got introduced to her in a telegram on 10% Commission which was used for transactions of fraudulent amounts. Similarly, the accused committed fraud of Rs. About 10 Lakhs in a single account, for which one more case was registered in another State and seized. One Mobile Phone and One Bank Account Debit Card.
He said that on the complaint received from a victim of Asif Nagar, Hyderabad stating that the Cyber fraudsters gave him messages through WhatsApp & Telegram applications and cheated on the pretext of a part-time job to work from home where they have to like and subscribe to the YouTube videos and made him to invest the money and collected an amount of Rs. 5,84,000/- and cheated. In this regard, the Cyber Crime Police, Hyderabad registered a case in Cr. No. 2442/2023, U/s 66(C),(D) IT Act & Sec 419,420 IPC and investigated.

The team headed by Inspector of Police S. Naresh along with team A.Shailendra, S.I., H.Cs Venkatesh, Mohammed Feroz, Maheshwar Reddy, and PC S.Ravi of PS Cyber Crime under his supervision and D.Kavitha, DCP, Cyber Crimes, Hyderabad and R.G Siva Maruthi, ACP, Cyber Crime PS, Hyderabad has cracked the said case.
