Lasya Nandita Dies in Accident, Hyderabad Mourns
Lasya Nandita | Hyderabad, February 23 (Maxim News): Lasya Nandita, an MLA in Hyderabad from Secunderabad Cantonment, sadly died in a car crash here on Friday.
Her car went off the road and hit a fence, killing her right away. Her assistant and driver were also hurt badly.
The accident occurred on the Sultanpur Outer Ring Road (ORR) in the district’s Aminpur mandal. Nanditha, 37, was traveling in an SUV when it reportedly lost control and collided with the divider, leading to fatal injuries for the MLA.

Sangareddy Superintendent of Police CH Rupesh said, “Lasya Nanditha was traveling from Basara towards Gatchibowli. It is suspected that the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel. The vehicle sustained significant damage to the front side. Additionally, her security officer was injured in the accident. Initially, she was taken to a private hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her body is being shifted to a government hospital for a PME.”
She is one of the youngest MLAs of the Telangana Legislative Assembly, representing the Bharat Rashtra Samithi. She was always known for her smiling face.
This is a big loss for Hyderabad, especially since Lasya Nandita had just won an election. Her father G. Sayanna, a well-known leader, had also passed away recently.
CM Revanth shocked
The Chief Minister and other leaders said they were very sad about her death and offered their condolences to her family. They remembered her hard work and how much people liked her.
Former Chief Minister KCR expressed shock over Lasya Nandita’s death. “My deepest condolences to her family members. He said that he got public acclaim as an MLA at a very young age”.
The people of Hyderabad are also sad about Lasya Nandita’s death. They will remember her as a good leader who cared about the city.
