Law and order demolished since Adityanath took charge : SP
In the aftermath of a suspected cow slaughterer beaten up by locals in the presence of the police, the Samajwadi Party (SP) on Saturday said within two months of the new government being formed, the law and order situation has been demolished in the state.
Speaking to ANI here, Samajwadi Party leader Juhi Singh, while condemning the incident asserted that primarily, the police, who were witness to this need, should be punished.
“All of a sudden, these so-called ‘gaurakshaks’ enter people’s houses and beat them up. Police are standing there crippled instead of taking an action. The government’s representatives need to very seriously consider reviewing the law and order situation in the state,” she said.
