Laxman takes oath as Rajya Sabha member

Hyderabad, July 8 (Maxim News): BJP senior leader from Telangana and the president of the national OBC Morcha of the party Dr. K. Laxman today took oath as Rajya Sabha MP. Telangana State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar , former MPs and other Telangana leaders congratulated Laxman on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Laxman thanked the party’s national leadership for nominating him to the upper house of the Parliament. He said that he would work hard for

Fulfilling the aspirations and dreams of the people of Telangana . He said that the party high command had nominated him to the Rajya Sabha from UP state and added that his nomination was an evidence to prove the importance being given by the party high command to the Telangana state . He said that the BJP was giving a lot of importance to the backward leaders of the party by nominating them to the important posts. He said that the central government had given a lot of importance to the four southern states of the country by nominating four prominent South Indians to the Rajya Sabha under President of India’s quota .

Targeting CM KCR, he mocked that the CM was day dreaming about his proposed national party. He claimed that KCR was planning to hold a mid term elections in the state as he was scared of losing the next assembly elections . Laxman said that the national president of the party JP Nadda had asked him to raise the issues related to the Telangana state as a Leader from Telangana . (Maxim News)
